Mrs. Mildred "Millie" Karst Turner, 74, of Albany died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her residence.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Pine Hill Church Cemetery. Rev. Grady Morey and Rev. Donnie Wright will officiate.
Mrs. Turner was born on June 4, 1942 in Winfield, AL to the late Leander Carl Causey and Verna Gay Lockhart Smith. She had lived in Albany most of her life. Mrs. Turner was a Marketing Director with Regions Banks retiring with over 33 years of service. She was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walt Turner; daughters, Angel Letchworth (Robert) and April Morgan (Dock Bush); step-sons, Walter Clayton and Blake Alexander; grandchildren, Alexander Letchworth, Reese Letchworth, Ashley Lancaster, Jessica Turner, Mathew Turner, Jakob Morgan, Justin Ledlow, Meagan Ledlow and Blake Spring; step-grandchildren, Nichols Turner and Ethan Alexander; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Bentley, Brycen, Nevaeh, Kayden, Jersey and 3 additional great-grandchildren in Atlanta; brothers, William Causey (Bea), Charles Causey (Beth) and Ralph Causey (Geneva) and sister-in-law, Shirley Tester.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by a brother, Cubert "John" Causey and her first husband, Edward James Karst, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Children's Miracle Network.
